Tonya Davidson earned her Master’s degree in Social Work at Northern Kentucky University in 2017. Tonya is a Licensed Social Worker (CSW) in the state of Kentucky.
Tonya has experience working with children and adolescence in an inpatient crisis stabilization setting with specialized training in Trauma Informed Care.
Tonya has counseling experience working in substance abuse in residential and outpatient settings.
Tonya volunteered for the Woman’s Crisis Center as an advocate for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault for three years.
As a therapist, Tonya specializes in helping children, adolescence, adults, and families. Tonya is a strength-based therapist that utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing and solution focused techniques to address issues including: anxiety, mania, depression, anger, grief, self-esteem, relationship, and substance use.
