Amita Ghosh

Resolve Counseling and Consulting, LLC was started by Amita Ghosh a Psychology professional. We specialize in helping individual, and couples in getting the most out of life. Ms. Ghosh has over 25 years experience in teaching, coaching and counseling.

In addition to being a Gottman Method Level III therapist, Amita is also trained in EMDR, MBSR and Yoga for Mood Management.

What differentiates Amita from other therapists is her ability to utilize eastern philosophy with western education to help her clients transform their lives. She has an easy style of relating to her clients, from a down to earth and pragmatic standpoint. Amita recognizes your inner strengths and shines a light on them, so you are also able to tap into them to improve your life.

Amita is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

Tonya

Tonya Davidson earned her Master’s degree in Social Work at Northern Kentucky University in 2017. Tonya is a Licensed Social Worker (CSW) in the state of Kentucky.

Tonya has experience working with children and adolescence in an inpatient crisis stabilization setting with specialized training in Trauma Informed Care.

Tonya has counseling experience working in substance abuse in residential and outpatient settings.

Tonya volunteered for the Woman’s Crisis Center as an advocate for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault for three years.

As a therapist, Tonya specializes in helping children, adolescence, adults, and families. Tonya is a strength-based therapist that utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing and solution focused techniques to address issues including: anxiety, mania, depression, anger, grief, self-esteem, relationship, and substance use.

Tonya believes in in a holistic approach, helping her clients achieve a better quality of life by collaborating with them, and allowing them to set the pace suitable for them.

Tawny

Tawny Turner, LISW, LCSW , is our newest therapist on the team. Tawny received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Northern Kentucky University. She has many years of experience working with foster children directly, as well as children, adolescents, teens, adults, and families in the professional realm. Tawny is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Kentucky and a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Ohio. She has an expansive history of working with individuals in home, school, community, office-based, and group settings. She provides evidence-based therapeutic services using various modalities including but not limited to: Parent Child Interactional Therapy (PCIT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Family Directed Structural Therapy, Co-parenting Assistance, Gottman Method Level II, and Life Stage Transition Guidance. Tawny strongly believes in collaborating with clients, caregivers, school personnel, case managers, community resources, and medical staff to generate the best outcomes. Her latest accomplishment is completing Gottman Method Level II training.
