Amita Ghosh

Resolve Counseling and Consulting, LLC was started by Amita Ghosh a Psychology professional. She specialize in helping individual, and couples in getting the most out of life. Ms. Ghosh has over 25 years experience in teaching, coaching and counseling.

In addition to being a couples therapist trained in the Gottman Method Level III, Amita also provided trauma, depression and anxiety counseling using Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing ( EMDR) Trauma Releasing Exercise (TRE), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Yoga for Mood Management.

What differentiates Amita from other therapists is her ability to utilize eastern philosophy with western education to help her clients transform their lives. She has an easy style of relating to her clients, from a down to earth and pragmatic standpoint. Amita recognizes your inner strengths and shines a light on them, so you are also able to tap into them to improve your life.

Amita is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion, understanding, and humor she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
